To increase educational opportunities for students, the Santa Ana Unified School District is combining Romero Cruz Elementary and Spurgeon Intermediate into Romero-Cruz Academy (PreK-8). Beginning this fall, both schools will be integrated into one campus with state-of-the-art classrooms for Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary and intermediate grades. The school will offer Dual Language, Full Day Kinder, schoolwide AVID, a full athletics program, a STEAM Lab and robotics arena, a Visual and Performing Arts focus, Speech and Debate and more.
